A special rate is available for participants. All hotel guests should make their reservation directly with the hotel and must identify themselves as reserving under the group discount. TRANSPORTATION from the AIRPORT to the HOTEL                                                                                                                                     

Attendees can find public transportation at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International airport’s Ground Transportation Center. Use taxis and shuttle services that have the name of the company clearly marked, and whose drivers are willing to give you an estimate of the cost to take you to your destination.

Super Shuttle service is available from the airport for approximately $15.

Taxi service is also available for approximately $30 – $49 to the Courtyard Marriot Downtown.

 

After claiming your luggage, you can find both the shuttle and taxi service by following the signs for "taxis". The signs will take you through the tram tunnel one floor below the baggage claim. When you reach the transportation center an airport agent will be there to assist you. The Shuttle operates 24 hours a day every day of the week. If you have more than 3 pieces of luggage you will be charged an extra fee.

Light rail from MSP Airport to the hotel

Tickets are sold at ticket machines before the last escalator to the rail station. 

Fare: 6am-9am & 3pm-6:30pm $2.25; all other times $1.75
Light rail leaves MSP Airport approximately every 10 minutes before 8PM and every 15-20 minutes after 8PM on weekdays

 

The Terminal 1-Lindbergh light rail station is located 70 feet underground below the Transit Center.  

Take the tram (one level below baggage claim) to the Transit Center. 

When you exit the tram, follow the signs to the light rail station.

Board the Blue Line to Minneapolis-Target Field train that is labeled Downtown Minneapolis.  

Ride the train until you reach the Downtown East Station.  

Get off the train and walk to the other side of the platform in order to board a Green Line to St. Paul-Union Depot train that will head to campus.  

The correct train will be denoted with a green square and labeled as Green Line across the top, front of the train.  

Ride this train two stops to the West Bank Station and get off the train.
